Amsoil vs M1 Synthetic ATF

Amsoil vs M1 Synthetic ATF
In the past, I'd had always used M1 synthetic ATF in my Maximas. When I changed the oil a few days ago I used 4 1/2 qts of Amsoil Multi-Vehicle ATF to also drain and refill the ATF pan.
This may be purely wishful thinking or a seat of the pants perspective but I feel adding Amsoil to the mix made my shifts smoother and more solid. I have no bias for one vs the other but will now run Amsoil ATF. I had, however, experienced slightly hard shifts from 1-2 with M1 ATF only after an extended drive (like 200 miles at 75mph). This started me thinking I might try Amsoil. I just did one of these 200 miles drives with the Amsoil and the temporary hard 1-2 shift is gone and now smooth/regular. Seems like the Amsoil handles the heat better.
Thought this might be useful for those of you trying to decide on Amsoil or M1 ATF.

I'm thinking of switching to synthetic ATF. Will it warm up quicker than dino ATF? In the cold weather, it takes a little while for the TC to lockup while cruising at 75 mph.
Iwannabmw: If I can get the hookup from you, I'll buy some Amsoil MTF for my Accord 5 speed and ATF for the Max. Let me know.

Deezo:
The fluid won't warm up quicker, but it doesn't thicken as much when cold. The TC will lock up much quicker than with conventional fluid.
What year is the Accord? I believe Honda specs motor oil for their 5 speeds, at least they do on the Civic's. Let me know and I'll shoot you some prices.
