Looking for cheap oil filters in NYC area to buy from so i can change my oil every 5000 miles not 3000 anyhelp would be appreciated thanks.

A very good all around oil filter to use is Purolator Premium Plus. Actually ANY oil filter will last up to 5000 miles given your engine isn't a sludge monster. If you're going to use a filter for such a short time I'd just use a cheap decent filter.
