Bottle Heater Install

How did you guys "attach" the thermostat to the bottle. It says to just put them under the straps that hold the heater to the bottle. Is this all you do? And how far apart do they have to be? Thanks guys.

Erik mine works off of pressure not heat. It has a pressure transducer that interupts the ground of the heater when the pressure reaches 1050 and connects again at 1000.

Ok, I wired everything up and everything looks fine. However, without using a mutlimeter, how can I see if my heater is working? I put my hands on the "heater" and I really cannot feel anything. Any ideas guys? I have tried putting a multimeter on the leads going in and out of the actual heater, but I get nothing. It is kinda warm outside, is this the case? Thanks guys......
