Org. member lost to racing
#123
My brother had been talking to the jetta driver since the accident and it didnt seem like he was too sshocked about it since he was still racing afterward, and had another car that he was still modding up for this same thing. I as waiting to see how long he would stay out of jail even though he had killed another. Im sure he is sorry, but Im sure he didnt learn from this, till now.
Hope the best for kevins family still, I do miss his IM's, but things like this happen all the time and its something you have to deal with. RIP kev

WTH? He is still racing? His friend was killed and he still didn't learn the lesson? Man, he needs a good slap on the head.

damn that sucks man...
but heres some stuff i been thinkn about...two weeks ago, 11/10, there was this senior that was attending the HS i went to, Troy High..and he was juss cruising w/ some friends in his WRX and some friends in another car and for SoCal guys, you guy know Brea Canyon rd? well he was on there, cant tell you about his speed or whatever but that road is a lot of fun to drive on when its empty..curves around hills but not that sharp...i usually drive about 55-65 mph around there w/out problems...but i guess he lost control, he hit a tree then wrapped around a light pole and died instantly; nobody else in the car died but they were critically injured...i didnt know him but im sure id seen him around and it just really hits home even though i didnt know him...but the biggest problem is that I will think about this for a while, even slow down and be more cautious...
but when i get behind the wheel, im gonna drive...im not gonna start granny driving or not floor it on an open road...im always gonna aspire to drop an s/c or turbo and be even faster...and when i realize my mistake, its gonna be too late.......
those are just my thoughts
btw, the guy that passed in his WRX, his name was Ray Liu, he died 11/10/02, his b-day was 11/13/84...

well ive been busy latly and haven't been able to check up on the org. and when i do its pretty dissapointing to find out Kev's buddy is still out tearing it up, and then to hear its in the corrado that he and Kev BOTH owned is downright sad. I hope he gets the book thrown at him now.
