Remote Start

AutoCommand® Basic Remote Car Starter - This is the kind of starter I'm looking at. Target has got a mad sale right now for $50.. I wanna do it myself but I've never done it before! I'm pretty confident I can handle it but has anyone done thier's themselves?

Sugestions or comments please?

BTW: If you're just gonna tell me about your moms frind's boyfriend who tried and phucked it up, don't bother..

I helped install one on an accord. Might not help much, but it isn't easy. You'll be satisfied in the end when it's freezing cold outside and you just start your car through the window instead of going out side and doing it

they have those units all the time on ebay for $40 or less, you may want to check it out before you buy it at Target
I personally dont know anything about the auto command unit though

I've done 4 remote starts on 3rd gen maximas. Nothing too hard about it. I know 3rd gens have 2 starter wires so you'll need to use a relay to take care of that.
