Had both the Valentine is better, I am saying that even though I currently own the Passport. My Valentine took a dive off of the top of my car and FUBAR. Valentine has more false, but very cool w/directional readings, and more sensitive. 8500 looks better and can be progammed for less false alarms. $ no object get the Valentine.

I just wanted to let you guys know that Police also use something called VASCAR, which cannot be traced and does not use radar to tell your speed. Just be careful out there. Pay as much money as you want for a radar detector, but if the Police wants you, they'll get you.

Peace out

VASCAR is not legal in many states...including mine. A GOOD radar detector is the best thing money can buy for protecting you from tickets.
