to tell u the truth

it was quite difficult to get out

its very flexible from the top so u squeeeze it and u pull it out at 45 degrees
make sure the steerin wheel is all the way down and make sure u take out the four screws on the bottom of the steerin wheel to take off the top portion of the steerin wheel

It really wasn't easy to get off. I couldn't even get the entire steering column cover off so it was super rough for me. I did it but I had the same problem with that part being loose. It turned out to be the three (I think there are three) clips at the bottom of it. I had everything in and didn't break anything ... but it was loose, I pulled it back out and ended up breaking the black piece right in the middle of the far right side. It's really not noticable cuz it's right above were my carbon fiber kit is, the kit must have held it together. Well anyway, I pushed the bottom part in better than time. I think one clip was broken and rattling so I pulled it out. Two clips are holding it in now, and no problems have arisen. I'm not screwing with it again until the indiglo gauges come out..............
