I'm looking at maybe Dynoing my 92GXE, but my question is how is it done? I've dynoed several times in 5spd's, but never with an auto? After you get tied down, do you just floor it? or what?

Thanks in advance

Well, when I had my Altima dynoed, what they basically do is start it up and let it get in third gear by itself and put it at a point where it won't downshift to 2nd, then you punch it and they measure the third gear, that's what they dynoed it off of.

Here's that dyno I did:

exactly what Ants said. Turn off OD, then accelerate until the car is in 3rd, then it takes some experimenting but you have to find the RPM where the tranny won't downshift to 2nd when you floor it. As you can see Ants was at 3,500 RPM, yours may differ but probably not by much.
