Changing Remote Battery?

Ok i have two remotes that i got when i bought from the dealer. One of the remotes was already dead. Last night the one i've been using died. I bought a new battery and put it in but its not working. I tried it in both remotes. It is the right battery. Is there something i'm doing wrong? thanks for your help.

If popping in a new battery didn't work, try programming the remote to your car.

hmm

dude, mine did the same thing, and i just stopped caring and just opened my doors with the key and such. Till one night i was walking out to my car and i was tossing the keys up into the air as high as i could and i missed them when the came back down. When i picked the up i pushed the lock button on accident and the corners flashed, and it has worked since then.
