They're 100% legal. I've tried four different kinds of bulbs: stock, Sylvania CoolBlues and Silverstars, and Phillips BlueVision.

I'd have to say that the Blue Visions and the Silverstars are equally matched in overall light output, but the Silverstars have a slightly whiter output (but less blue).

You made a good choice. If you were really on a budget though, the Phillips BV would have also been a good buy.

No doubt that MotionR 6000k is the best bulb in the market.

I just switched from Sylvania Extravisions to Silverstars. The Silverstars "look" nice, but the color temp of 4K means less light output. Compaired them to my Extravisions and cars next to me on the highway with standard Helogen lights, you can see the difference. My new Silverstars don't look as bright "ON THE ROAD" as others do. Actually they pretty much suck on wet or dark black roadways.

But your headlights do look They have a great white clean HID like color.

The best bulb I've used so far is definately the Extravision. They have a wide bright beam that lights up the roadway nicely so you, the driver, can see where your going.

I have run a few of the other bulbs listed above (not the 6000Ks) and now run silverstars. I like them better.

Im running silver stars in my 2k now and just replaced some Eurolite Plasmas, witch im my opinion the eurolites were 10 times better, more light output on the ground and also great vision in rainy weather...
Also i had the eurolites for over a year with out burning out and melting a harness, when i switched them out to try some APC superwhites two days later they melted my harnesses so i switched back to the eurolites...
