I daily drive at 11.3 psi . Only issues I have had was with the clutch not holding. Go any higher and it'll be the tranny and half shafts. It's not necessarily how much boost you run or how much nitrous ... sometimes it's in the tuning.

You know what I find interesting... and I know that this thread is old so this may have changed, but Nigel, you have how much in your car right now? I'm guessing $5k+ Ok, great. It took you how long to get an actual clutch, and now you're spining "one wheel at 55mph?" WTF? Dude, find an LSD unit, either Quaife or one out of an I30. WTF?

amazing what the "older" VQ motor can do. i don't even think the SR20DET motor can do what the VQ does in stock trim. i've heard of over 500ish on a stock internal SR, but it's strictly for drag racing and not a daily driver. say, if i wanted a turbo setup on my 97 max, is there a shop that can assemble it and tune it in one shot? i've been out of the maxima loop for a while...all likelyhood my max stays NA as a daily commuter. oh well.

"older" VQ? No. ORIGINAL VQ, the one that started it all

that is the sickest numbers I've seen associated with the max, congrats on the setup and for the car still working, and rubber still on your tires.

Hope your engine can take the boost plus spray.
