HID Kit.. Is this BS??

I emailed the guy asking if they were really Hi-Lo 12k's.. I didn't see anything about the Hi-Lo beam pattern in the auction description.

He told me they were Hybrid bulbs.. WTF are Hybrid bulbs??

12,000K = Very deep dark purplish light. Kind of like driving with a black light.
