Help, middle of suspension install
Hey guys,
Im in the middle of replacing my front springs and am going to cut the bump stops. I have the strut disassembled and am trying to get to the bump stop so I can cut it. Problem is that it seems to be glued, along with the dust boot, to the top of the strut housing. Being as such I can't get down to it to trip off the top ring. Is there any tricks to removing the dust boot without tearing it? hoping to get this done tonight as I need my car tomorrow.
Thanks

Nevermind. I just tugged at it extra hard and the dust boot/bump stop came free of the strut housing. I was just afraid to tear it if I pulled too hard so had to make sure it wasn't glued or something.
