..... NO turbo, blowers, NAWWWWWZZZ(nitrous), or even slicks. Also Running with full interior, stock wheels, and not removing the spare and jack.

I think only 3ppl on this board qualifed to get 13s with basic bolt ons only. However I think one guy used slicks?

So say a 5spd 4th gen, runnin 15flat to 15.2 stick(stock), with basic bolt ons, can it get down to high 13s?

I think the 5spd 2k2s w/ lil mods can, but how bout the 2k2 auto with all the bolt ons?

 

there are a coupe of guys that are in the 13's running N/A. you can get things like a y-pipe, MEVI, ECU, Intake, UDP, clutch, light wheels with slicks and a bunch of more things and you will be there.

 

high 13s might be attainable, providing you are a good driver.
Nealoc187 did 13.9.. I honestly don't remember whether or not he had a stripped interior, but most likely the spare and jack were out.. the wheels were not stock either.

this is with pretty much everything available short of the ECU someone please correct me if i'm wrong.



as far as price, it will depend on who and where you get your stuff from and which brands you choose to go with and, new or used? a Y pipe can cost 150$ - 400$. quite a difference


However, low to mid 14s can and have been done easily, again, that's if you are a decent driver.

It's wrong. I have MEVI, Y pipe and Pop charger. No UDP, stock exhaust, no drivetrain upgrades. I was on slicks with the passenger seat, spare and jack removed.

To answer the original question with all bolt ons including MEVI and ECU, 13s will be possible with a great driver. If you are only running 15.0-15.2 stock though, I wouldn't count on it. Either your track isn't good enough, the conditions aren't good enough, or you aren't good enough

The mevi is what us 5thgen guys have stock It's a middle east variable intake. Helps for top end after 5000rpm.. pop charger is just a big cone filter. udp is a underdrive pulley. Helps free up hp at the crank.
