help me out..
why go trhough the trouble of trying to buy, ship and install the DET when you can just turbo your VE?? CR might be lower on the DET, but I don't see the worth in it. I can pretty much garuntee getting custom pipes fabbed, buying a turbo and fitting it to your VE and using a piggy back fuel setup would cost MUCH less than importing a DET, getting the ECU factors worked out, rearranging stuff in your engine bay and all the other things that go along with "uncommon" engine swaps. just my $.02...and besides a VQ turbo kit should be pretty "easy" to retrofit to a VE from what I've seen, just some different bends here and there.

if you are set on a det still, talk to tilley. he had one (until it blew up) , they do have some convenient things such as the exhaust manifold (which he still uses) - i forget who he got it from and could be wrong but i believe he waited ~9months for it ?
