Really thinking about getting the MSD RPM Switch
I know its more and not as variable as the Harlan (which I have) but I have more confidence that it will work all of the time.
I talked to a rep at MSD yesterday and they tell me its about $35 to modify it to work with our ignition setup. I'm willing to kick a little more $$$ to get something that's going to work.
I'll most likely sell my harlan to get the MSD. I've found one for a very good price.

No headaches here.

I think the Harlan/Relay setup will be more reliable if you mount it inside the car instead of under the hood.

I'm still searching out a couple of parts and I was busy with the family and work for the last few months. All I need is the vacuum canister and I'm golden. Can't find that bish anywhere.

I was looking at the MSD too, and saw that they have a dial modulator selectors that would make it act very much like harlans. Only bad part is its like 40 bucks... but it might be worth it for the ability to change the rpms.

It would cost much more in the end but at least you would be getting a highend piece of equipment (no disrespect to harlan's workmanship).
