Anyone converted from a 9004 to a 9007?
The 9004 bulb is one of the worst designs ever. The fillaments are oriented wrong and put out a poor light pattern. I know the harness has to be rewired and the socket has to be modified. I've read about people making a 9007 fit a 9004 socket so it can be done. Have any of you fellow Maxima oners done this. Just wanted to know the improvements, if there are any.

The fact that the 9004 and 9007 bulbs have plastic bases doesn't make them bad bulbs...in fact the new H11s have plastic bases as well.
