"destroy"?
depends how big hte hole is, dirt and alot of other crap that the filter is suppose to trap is going into ur engine
and it is getting stuck on the intake vavle and the cylinder walls and stuff, since alot of the parts part miving it is probily being scratched up inside ur engine which is not a good thing

yeah I put my stock airbox back in for now....
funny thing is...the car still performs pretty well...after putting in th stock airbox I had my sister drive myc ar around (my license is currently suspended) This guy inhis Q45 starts messin with my sister and she got all ****ed off, drafted the dude then proceeded to walk him from 65-133mph.
We had about three car lengths before my sister shut it down. I was f*cking proud as hell of my lil sis....but I made her promise not to ever do that again.....expecially with my car...haha.
So getting back to my problem.....stock airbox is back in. The hole on the filter was about the size of a lollipop stick from a blowpop. And I would guesstimate that I had theproblem for approx 10,000 miles. You guys think
there is a strong possibility of extensive damage?
