I was getting clunking, so I wrapped the rear springs in sprial wrap, and it helped things quite a bit.

We just put this washer underneath the rubber at the top of the rear suspension rubber bushing thingy(<LOL) so that it wouldn't move. That was a horrible explanation...i would need to show actual pics of what was done...

All coilovers make noise.... I have'nt heard of a set that are completely quiet yet! Thats part of the price you pay for modding unfortunately.

My GC don't make any noises going over bumps. It does during when I am turning now but that is just because I have to regrease the top cap so it will glide from the strut mount.

what i was trying to ask is if you guys kept the stock part that was on top of the stock springs...i took it out...but im wondering if that might be causing sounds
right now i have the aluminum top hat, the strut bearing, then the top mount (with the 3 bolts going throught he strut tower)

what is the spring perch??
this is what i have from top to bottom.
sturt mount, strut plate with the 3 screws, strut bearing, aluminum top hat, and then springs with spiral wrap, right now i think it is the spring making noise. how did u guys wrap the springs? i did the same with the silicon and duct tape. it worked pretty well.
