I bought a HID and I installed but it's only has a low beam ....is any one have any idea to make it work both? cause It can't only have low beam to drice at NYC.

Unless it is the hi/low kit with solenoids... No you can "make" it into a "bixenon" kit.

 

You spend hundreds of dollars without even reading to notice its only low beams?

 

I have to agree with Chunger and Derek on this, dude. Unless you purchase a bi-xenon HID kit, you are only gonna have low or high beam... NOT both. Most kits sold nowadays say this either in the advertisements or on the box or on the website(s).

we can "make" our hid kit into a hi/low kit? please explain. I seen someone selling some ish which came with projectors but i dont think this is the same.

 

well you can drill your lights out (actually let a pro do it) and install 2 projector hid capsules per light with different light patters thus creating hi/lo. if you didnt go with the bi xennon which would probably be cheaper and more sensible in the long run.

 

Is there any reason why a person would want only low beams? That's like saying SMG conversion kit for Maxima, just doesn't have reverse. The things people will do to make money.

Your best option at this point may be to buy some driving lights (not fog lights), install them, and wire them to come on when you hit your high beams..

It's "urgy" or back to halogens or sell your kit and get a HI/LO HID kit.

 

What do you do when one headlamp burns out on a 4th gen? You buy a new 9004. What do you do on a 5th gen? You buy a 9003. I'd recommend taking that HID out and putting it back the way it was. Not only will you see better, but you wont annoy oncoming traffic and cars ahead of you. my .02
