So what happens when you have no key..
Yea.. I thought I locked my keys in my trunk, so I had AAA come out and open the car.. well, keys weren;t there! I back tracked from when I last had the keys, and can not find them ANYWHERE! Just wondering, if they don't pop up within the next few days.. how do I end up getting my car going again with no key?
Thanks
Thanks

I think the dealership can get a key number based on your VIN. You will probably have to go to a dealer with a title and ID that shows you own the car and the VIN of the car.
I had a 1998 Toyota Tacoma that I lost the keys for. When I bought it new, they had given me a little key tag with a number on it. I gave them the tag and my title (with VIN) along with ID and they hammered me for like $30 or something for a new key.
Hopefully, Nissan has the same kind of program, but I've never lost all of my Nissan keys and I've owned seven of them.

Buy a key from Courtesy, eBay, or online for ~$19:

Then go to the dealer and prepare to get shafted for like $2X for looking up your key pattern, cutting the key, and then anywhere from $40-$90 to reprogram it WITH your car.
BTW, might as well bite the bullet and pay for TWO keys to be cut, so you only have to pay for the programming ONCE.
