Basically. You can't tell me this **** never once crossed any of your minds. Think about it logically. Car is trashed, man goes out blowing money on G35. $3K in rims...down payment.......

People in this usual situation wait until the insurance claim is closed and check in hand before making a move towards getting something else or even going to that extreme. There seems to be too much eagerness in the whole thing.

Sprint Max,

Me ah de only one heh dat callin the bluff. Nuff man tink dem smart, and want tek some people fi fools. I jus lookin to de odda side before me mek judgment. Tell me ting nah mek sense....

IMHO. If I were to commit fraud, I certainly wouldn't display and tell everyone what happened. (As Tony already said) I also probably wouldn't have damaged the custom pieces I had made either. ( A little harder to justify to the insurance)

I would have just maybe ripped the whole interior up, keyed the whole car and took the airbag hardware. Maybe steal the rims. That way I could declare the car a total, take out all the sellable items and make quite a bit more $. If I were Jason, I would have took pics, drove the car home, took all my custom/turbo stuff off and tried to get full retail on a near stock car. IMHO, I don't think he's gonna get alot for mods. Depends on the insurance company I guess.

hey jason, aside from all this BS that people are talking about in the past couple of pages...

just wanted to say that i'm REALLY (really, really) shocked that something like this could happen. I know you spent alot of money on it.... but damn, I remember all those posts (remember the audio one??) about the time and effort you did to CUSTOM FABRICATE all of that. I think that's the biggest lost there... everything was unique. Also, i'm sure we can all appreciate you introducing new stuff to the maxima enthusiast community.

Again, i'm sorry about what happened... i too agree that it must have been some hate/jealousy thing. Good luck with the insurance company and good luck with your G!

Jason, im very sorry to hear about what happened, I would be so hurt for months if something like this happened to me. It seems almost personal the way they destroyed your whole car. Good luck with your new project, whatever it may be - be sure to stick around the org!

I told a few of my friends (who have seen pics of your car) , and one of them actually said the same thing AccordInspire was saying; I just dont understand why people think like that.

jason,i just wanted to say that IMO you had the sweetest ride on these forums. that said, sorry about what happened. it sucks enough that people would do that to your ride, then to come here to vent about it and get **** from skeptics is terrible.

good luck with your new ride, try not to think about the max too much. you gonna hang around the boards still?

If you knew Jason, it's not a surprising thing to do. Better than sitting around crying about what's already happened.

At least 80% of the stuff on his car was custom one off stuff, and insurance isn't going to remotely cover the cost or time it took to do it. This guy stayed at my house for 3 weeks while we custom built his turbo setup instead of just buying a turbo kit. You think insurance is going to cover that kind of time or dedication? There are better ways of getting new cars. He could have probably sold it for more than what the insurance is likely to pay out. And no, it didn't cross my mind once that he was trying to scam anyone. Why? Because I know him. And for you to spout this BS without even knowing him is rude, disrespectful, and totally uncalled for. Plus it's very insulting. He was looking to get a G35 coupe before any of this happened, and yes he could have afforded to keep the Max too. He didn't need to do this just to get a new car.

Why would you accuse him of insurance fraud? Why would you even take the risk of having insurance cover all of that, all the time of receipts and hassle? Thats pretty disrespectful to accuse someone of something like that w/o any proof, he already has it rough right now having to hassle with the money through insurance.

Jason, hopefully everything works out with the insurance company, hope that G35 will work out great. A Nice step-up from the maxima, lets see what you can do with a G35 now.

Good luck!

Hey Jason, I've been away the last week and just read through the whole post. I'm sorry to hear about what happened to your car. It's a shame. I know that you worked your *** off to bring it to where it was. Good luck with the G35.

Eagerness??

#1: My wheels for the g-coupe around 4k, without tires.
#2: The G35coupe is 36k
#3: 4k + 36k DOES NOT EQUAL 26k or whatever bullsh!t the insurance company thinks my car is worth...so how would insurance even work in my favor??
#4: WHY on earth would I mess with a custom carbon trunk lid that invested thousands of dollars in, and will get literally nothing in return?
#5: WHY on earth would I mess with a custom trunk enclosure that my roomate and I built from nothing; over 100 hours put into that.
#6: Some people have good credit and can afford nice things, we all don't have to wait for mommy and daddy.. I work 2 jobs, go to school and do freelance web design/photography to make my money. On top of that I have been one of the most influencial people on parts for the maxima.org. I also live on my own, without the assistance of my parents on anything I pay for.

You need to rethink your comments and really sit back and watch what you say.. karma my friend, works in mysterious ways; I don't ever threaten people, but you may want to just watch what you say from here on out.

I don't take anyone for a fool on this forum, hence why I made this post in the first place. And you think that all my story doesn't add up because you don't know me and you would never take the time to find out anything about me. So again, keep your mouth shut and listen to the handful of people on here telling you the same thing.

Thanks to everyone who told this fool to shut up, thanks for trying to keep this thread clean of all that nonsensical bullsh!t.

AccordInspire can accuse all he wants, but you'll be spinning your wheels because no one really cares what you think.

It's not not outside the realm of possibilities that Jason paid someone to bust his car up, but it would have been the dumbest plan ever plotted if he doesn't get paid from the insurance co.

And Jay , you make it look like this guy is phasing you buy e-thuggin him on IM.

It's highly doubtful that he committed ins. fraud, but you never know.

Move on

AccordInspire I can see why you posted such a thing but you then took it overboard. Bragging about your Z's and what not. Who Cares!!!! I am 17 years old and my parents gave me two maxima's. But am I going everywhere posting about it. NO!!! Nobody could care. I don't know saddler but how else would you explain him already posting that he was getting a G35 then letting this happen. As many people know that insurance companies always try to bargain the low end of the deal. Since they are taking the value of the car how else will you explain a loss of over $10k. I think that if he really wanted to do insurance fraud he would have called the car in stolen and have it burned down to nothing. Now the insurance company has to pay for the damages. But they can say that his property was under the assumption of the hotel covering the costs and he parked at his own risk there.

With this coming from somebody who has yet to experience the true knowledge of the board please get the F**k out because you don't have anything that is relevant to a maxima. Accord and a few Z's WOW!!! Tell me this how the hell will an Accord be in the picture with 2 vintage Z's and a 350Z. Come on, I would atleast get something that worth the brag.

Threaten???? Hahaha this is what it comes down to huh? Keep digging yourself inna hole. Keep talking about how much money you dumping into the G35, that should be irrelevant, but YOU keep bringing that up. If your hand wasn't so far up these guys asses on this board you would see more people admitting it looks fishy. These guys are just on your ******* for all the **** did to your max. Dude I liked your car, everything you did to it. It really does suck that someone had to audacity to do something like this. But the way it happens it seems all to fishy and that is my main reason for this post. Just because I had the cajones to say what most people was thinking don't mean ****. I am a honest person and I usually call it like it is.

Chap one thing is for sure you really don't know me. So maybe you should keep your hemoroids cool and really think about your next move. If you would noticed I stopped talking about this a while now because I was asked to by a mod and I respect that. The way you keep pushing is like you have something to prove so gallong do yuh ting. I nah care.

PS Here's another cookie

Not that I care what did or did not happen, but:

You guys don't really know Jason. Personally attacking accordinspire about his and his parent's cars doesn't accomplish anything.

Him making accusations is pretty cruel, and doesn't hold much merit, but it is possible that Jason isn't being completely honest.

We don't know all of the facts so there is no point in being nasty about it.
