I'm about to put in my custommaxima alum dash kit and just wanted to see if it was a good idea to clean off the dash with anything before the alcohol pads in the kit...also anything else to make the install go smoother..

i just used the alcohol pads...they made the dash white. Used a little soap and water before and after that.

 

dish soap and water, scrub away!
