this is my second ticket in 10 days.

Can you believe it? I was going 70 in 55. I wasn't really speeding, I was just going through the gears.

the other ticket was 40 in 25, costing down a hill in neutral.

What should I tell the judge?

oh by the way, after the test drive, i decided to keep my max. The WRX is faster than any stock maxima, but it is not as fast as i expected it to be. Just a tad bit faster than a 5 speed max.

I'm gonna wait for the Lancer.

just wondering what your impressions were about the fit and finish, interior design, noise levels, and ride quality were. i'm going to be calling a dealer this week to get the details on getting one.

Off the line it is quicker, but on a roll, the max will leave it behind.

Check out my impressions

I have also been hanging out at http://www.i-club.com which is an impreza org. Many dealerships are only putting 87 octane in the WRX's because they don't know any better! Make sure the WRX has the high octane gas to get a true gauge of performance. Personally I think the WRXs I drove probably did not have 91+ octane in them.

More importanly there appears to be trouble with the WRX and the 2.5RS to a lesser extent. Some WRX are getting check engine lights for numerous problems. Check out the WRX non-techinal forum and fellow the check engine light thread.

I think the WRX wagon looks better then the sedan, and I really don't like wagons. The car is pretty ugly. The lancer should look a lot better.

sorry about the ticket..i test drove an automatic WRX today cause that's all they had. and as i was driving a cop tailed me for a good bit, then turned off..so i dropped the hammer for a brief period..feels powerful but its more subdued than our V6s believe it or not. i think it has much better fit and finish than my sis' 2.5 RS impreza. 6 disc CD changer is nice. not as much torque as i expected, compared to my max. although the WRX will probably walk all over it driven hardcore.

You are dead meat stupid.

I saw this coming long time ago. You were thinking you're all fast and **** with your maxima. You shouldnt be driving 40 in a 25. I never drive 40 in 25 because I know they'll ticket you. You should have gotten a ticket on Park Street last time too, driving like 55 on 25. Just because you're cruisin in neutral doesnt mean it's ok.
I"m not gonna help you out becaues I just got a $100 buck handicap ticket too.

They also have the same paint complaints we do. Maybe I can just get one primer grey...
