aftermarket exhaust question
Looking into a catback exhaust. Don't want the greddy sp, cause IMO it doesn't look good. I want to keep the stock look, maybe with just slightly larger tips. So I'm getting a custom one made.
Does anyone know what size piping I should get, should it be 2.5" from cat to the split then 2.25" from split to muffler. Or should it be 2.5" from cat to muffler. I'm also trying to keep it quiet, so what mufflers would keep it quiet. Also would I have to put a resonator on the exhaust to keep it quiet or will the mufflers do it.
I'm asking cause the places around me tell everyone FLOWMASTER!!!!!!!!

gonna get the y-pipe once it is manufactured, I'm looking to keep it quiet with intake y-pipe and catback exhaust.
I've seen your car around hamilton, I used to live there. You got dullies, what setup you running, is it a single muffler with the one tip wrapped around the wheel well or is it two mufflers

If you don't want something too loud go for the custom b-pipe and 5th gen muffler. When you install that y-pipe there is going to be considerable noise from the exhaust. And the 5th gen muffler is quiet as heII.
