This might be a stupid question but, is it okay to install the strut bar yourself, or is it better to get a mechanic to do it?

I heard about people installing strut bars themselves and overtightening the bolts then stripping them during hard cornering.

What do you people with strut bars recomend? Thanks!

 

It s a very easy install. Get a good torque wrench and toque it according to the manufacturer’s specs.

 

dude it wont take you more than 10-15 minutes

 

Get a torque wrench and park on a flat area. There are instructions on the maxima.org homepage (not the forums).
