Man I just checked out
http://www.nissandriven.com/menu_nf.html
and love that damn marketing dept at Nissan. from commercials to the site, great stuff.
Hey...what's the new Sedan being announced on 4.11.01 at 2:45pm?
Are they going to reveal the new Altima or Maxima?
The hype is that the "Sedan Breaks Free" ?
I'm strongly looking at a new Maxima but am awaiting some offical announcements.
From what I've seen the 260hp motor in the Z is most likely the new Motor for the Maxima, but anyone care to guess on the performance of such in the 1/4 mile?

The new sedan is the Altima, due to go on sale in September. From what it looks like so far, it will be pretty sweet. Available 240hp V6, VLSD, independent multi-link rear suspension, and about the same size as the Maxima. Plus, supposedly there will be an interior that competes with VW. It is definitely worth a look.

How is that seen in the Maxima world as competition to the current and potentially offered 260hp version next year?
The current Altima is a bit small and perhaps a step down from my GTP appointments, but the new Altima looks good and should perform pretty well.
hmmmmm.
