Squealing wheels...?

So after a long drive, my car tends to make a squealing sound. It gets louder as I accelerate (until the engine and road noise drowns it out) and stops when the car stops. It sounds a lot like rubber-on-rubber. It eventually goes away, but it has me spooked. What could it be?

Sounds like the seals around the front wheel bearings. I had this problem. They get all dried out and were making an awful squeeky sound. It's nothing that's going to hurt anything, just kind of annoying. I had a shop change mine so I can't explain the disassembly/assembly of the whole thing. I don't think it'd be too difficult though, assuming the bearing are okay.
