first.. sat night i have to park in a spot i didnt want to b/c all the end spaces were taken.. i come outside and have the mother of all dents in my car. Some a**hole must have layed into his door to do this (even took some paint off) Then i get my tires rotated and notice that there is a greesy oil ALL over my rim and strut.. i take it to the dealer and i have torn the CV? boot ... so i have to get that fixed for 200 dollars and the guy said this could have happened due to lowering the car b/c it causes greater stress on the joints and axle. Modding your car can sometimes suck.

Dude, that sucks. I had a bad tuesday. I took a day trip to Baltimore, and I left my fogs on. Killed the battery, then when I was trying to get a jump start, my car alarm was going crazy. I tried leaving Baltimore around 5, and got home around 11:30. It's normally a 2 hour drive. I was about ready to take my dash apart and rip out that car alarm. Stupid starter kill. I guess that's what I guess for rewiring my fogs.

Doesnt your car have the chime that sounds when the parking lights are on? Or did you rewire the foglights to come on no matter what?

Lowering the car won't affect the CV boots. Mine are still in good shape. Did you get your tires balanced on the car while you were there? That's bad for Maximas and will destroy the boot.

I rewired the fogs, so they can come on no matter what. I don't need to have my parking lights on to have my fogs on.

Hmm..why didn't you rewire it so it gets power from +12V accessory and not +12V constant? My fog light is independent of my parking lights or headlights, but dependent on key being at on or acc. position.
