Is there such thing or am i just making things up? I just swtiched over to Synthetic yesterday (courtesy of TurboMax), and on the way home i couldnt help but kill a couple of ANNOYING hondas that wanted to play on the freeway. i went through all the gears pretty hard, and i don't know, just got the feeling that maybe i should have taken it easy for awhile to let the new oil break in haha. so yea, anyone know if theres such thing as a break-in time when first switching over to synthetic? thanks

the only recommendation (by Amsoil, for instance) is running their Engine flush product through the car for 20 minutes @ around 2000 rpm to remove any sludge buildup from the dino oil. And even then, some don't agree with needing to do that at all.

You should be fine, and it's good to see you running synthetic with the blower. The VQ will be much happier.

OMG! DUDE YOU'VE RUINED YOUR CAR!!!

Just kidding.

You're fine -- no break-in needed.

oh man, you gotta break in for about 100mi before bringing your revs above 4k rpm or else your blower will die in a few thousand miles. Take it off rite now and give it to me Lynn and ill figure out what to do with it!
