Really? So what motivated your decision? Reason I ask is Im wondering if anybodies like me. I've had mine nearly 6 years now and I still don't have any plans on 86'n it. Although I may have my eye on a new ride, maxeen ain't going no where no time soon.

Not sure why I got rid of my car. I just think it was time for something new. I was sad to see it go, but I know it's in good hands over there. They've done a lot to that car since I had it. I was planning on keeping that car til it died.

Wuzzup Synki!! You too?! I didn't realize you'd given up your Max. When that happen? I still dig my 4th gen, but I've been looking at a few 3rds lately. Just want a ride I can "DRIVE" without worrying too much about. You know, a sweet point A to B'r.

Dang, old timers eh? I have an old time relationship, but relatively new owner. Been around since 1998 and finally bought one in 2002.

Well, the 3rd gen had 240k miles on it so I soldit. The 4th gen got hit 3 times within 1 yr. The 3 times it got hit, the car was parked! I wasnt even in the car. I sold it since it was kinda like having bad luck. It must have had a bulleyes on it or something. I def. agree the Maxima is a awsome car and great for getting around.

Pretty damn laggy. Its actually a T3/GT40 combo with a 65lb wheel. I see full boost by (depending on which gear) roughly 5100rpms. WHen that bish spools, hold on for dear life. Its even better now that I have a 9k redline and anti-lag. hehe.

ANd I know that EVO ofyours cant be stock.

That RPM is about the same as the Evo with a GT35R (with T3 turbine) in the higher gears. 9k redline... Mmmmmmmmmmmmm

The Evo is stock for now (well, I put the Blitz SBD-iD from the Max on it and replaced the stock BOV with a GReddy Type RS) but I've been ordering stuff the past two weeks so it won't stay stock for long.

How many cars do you have?? Where were you when I was car shopping back in April? I'm not sure if your wrx would be able to help my quarter mile time I gave up on trying to go fast and bought a honda

I started to get some direction in modifying my Max after looking at MaximaDriver.com back when Cheston had his 4th gen. I came over to Maxima.org and lurked for a while at the tail end of Jambo's reign then finally signed up and started posting. I had a DSM previously but got more involved with the building of the Max. That car caused my car craziness to spill into car obsession and almost every extra penny I had went into it.

A couple of years after the 96 I also bought a 2002 Maxima. I recently sold both and no longer have a Maxima but still meet up with local members and show them how to fix or maintain their cars when I can.

I still have my 96 David Lee Red Clears from Craig Macks car in a closet, I'd probably put them in the safe if they would fit
