Fixed my V1 laser issue, but in a backwards way
#1
Guys,
Some of you know I've been having a really hard time with my V1 laser falsing due to electrical interference from my Alpine CVA-1005 and also my strobe power supply.
I finally decided to simply disable laser detection in the V1. I figured a few things:
1. Once you get hit by laser you're busted anyway, unless several gods are smiling upon you;
2. All the falsing has caused me to basically ignore the laser warning anyway;
3. I have tried every other solution electrically and have had no luck.
The V1 is the best on the market, but the laser/electronic accessories interference issue has been problematic for me with this one and the 2 units I had previously. I also have heard a few other people with similar issues. I don't know what the long term solution is but I hope Mike Valentine figures it out. It's a great unit.
