What did you do to upgrade your MEVI? And how do you know if it will be better than the 00VI, do you have a dyno with an 00VI on your car?

Never dynoed as stated but I did try both 00VI and did run some tests to compare if there were any differences. To hard to tell, it deff feels better than the 00VI. To me the 00VI feels very light in power delivery between 1500-5000 than my SVI. I did all testing in one day. I put the SVI on last and never looked back.
The only thing left from the MEVI is from where the valves open up everything back is totaly different. All I did was change the Runner Length and Size from TB all the way to the top Cover of the MEVI.
It's not a true dual runner.

So, everything from the butterfly valves to the head is the same, or am I thinking inversely?

The MEVI/00VI/5.5g+ are NOT true dual runners.

Only true dual runner for the VQ series, IIRC, is the 01 Pathfinder 3.5L

Yes, if you follow the the runners from the TB to the butterfly valve cover are cut off completly.
I had the chance to do this at Mikes machine shop. He helped me with the design, all equal length runners. Very easy and simple design just different Dimensions than stock. Anyone can do this with the proper resources.
All the Honda and Nissan guys down here use crazy configurations copied from Gsx R's TB's, RB26T IM's. I've seen some crazy looking Manifolds and TB combinations this summer and they actually serve a specific purpose in how you want the power deliverd..

I'll deff show mine if Sr20 shows his...

Show your gains to go with it if you don't show the actual unit.

I won again last Saturday in street class. It's the 4th time this year. Lots of fun.

I just changed my knock sensor harness and knock sensor, and I must say, it's awesome to have my power back. It really pulls like a **** (i.e like it used to) so I might hit the track this weekend to see what kind of mph is possible. It's been a while since I've seen anything above 103.xx.

Also, I sold my slicks, but last time I pulled a 2.03 60 foot on the Yokohamas, so it'd be interesting to see what I can do on street tires. My street tire PB is still 13.68, but that was with a 2.13 60 foot.

Doesn't matter. It's good until the end of the season (October/November), which is the best time for PB's anyway.

If you want real slicks this time, get M&H's. Your car has a 12.6 in it without any other changes.

Forgot to add that all runs were done with full interior, street tires, and over a half a tank of gas
