I was just curious since I have a 98 and it doesn't have the chip in the key. For all the cars with the transponder, how does it work when you have 2 spouses? Say the husband last drove the car, how would the wife's key start the car? Or would they have to pass one key?

Then, out of curiousity on the 95-98 Max, does the ignition kill actually work, or can a thief just start the car anyway by going to their own FAQs somewhere. Obviously flatbeds take everything out of the equation.

All the keys that come with the cars are "chipped". Any additional keys have to be obtained from the dealer so they can program it.
