These are the 17" Konig GTR's that I had for 4 years, before Hibdon's bent them trying to mount tires on them the day after I got them powdercoated black-chrome.

$25 a wheel, that's it? That's a good price. I wanted to get my rims powercoated too. Just any body shop can do this powercoating, right?

No, not really....the process is kind of unique....the way I understand it, first they sandblasted my wheels, then they baked everything off, then they cleaned it in an acid bath, and when they apply the powdercoat, they ground the wheel, and then put a positive charge on the powdercoating stuff, so it actually bonds with the metal, then they bake it at 800 degrees. What funny is that the place that did my wheels doesn't even powdercoat wheels...they powdercoat piping and stuff like that to prevent corrosion for major companies locally. They did my wheels because they were bored and wanted to see how they would come out
