that question is just like 2 diff brands of gas i believe, everyone likes shell(hella) because theyve ben out for a while and kno what theyre doing by now(makin projectors since 80's) and valeo would be like us gas. havent heard of em but their product works. now are you asking about whish should i choose, if the valeo's dont have bi-xenon go with the Hella bi-xenon. just my .02

What about Bosch?

I think the Valeo's they are selling are single xenon only so you'll lose your hi-beam. Personally I think you should wait and keep looking. You can get Hella E55/'04 maxima/rs6 bixenons with bulbs and ballast with integrated ignitors in the low two hundreds on E-bay. Even better in terms of output is the E46 Bosch projectors. If you do the washer mod, their cutoff has almost as much blue as the Hella while delivering better, more even and wider beam

If you want the ULTIMATE Bixenon projectors imho, try your damndest to find either the ZKW E46 bixenon projectors or TL bixenon projectors but you will pay a serious premium (500's) for them.

Look hard and buy the best once and for all. I am VERY happy with my E46's especially since I got them for so cheap on Ebay but I still wish I went with Tl's or ZKW since they perform better in terms of color flicker, beam pattern, distance, etc. Keep in mind that both the TL's and ZKW are bigger than the hella's or Bosch projectors so they will be a B I T C H to retro. Still possible though. George (Geo1317 i think) put in zkw's into his max. Looks hot.

good luck! Retrofitting is the ultimate in lighting. Trust me, night and day, even compared to 9004/9007 hid kits.

Check out this thread I started with a ton of pics. ( ) Enjoy!

What is this washer mod?
And yes, my dad's TL projectors are excellent in every sense of the word! cutoff, color, function. What's the largest diameter projector that will fit in stock housings? Are cefiros any different or the same size?

not having high beams?? i dont ever need to use mine with the stock headlamps so i dont think that ill need to with the projectors buts thats because i have jetta projector fogs and they put out as much light as my high beams did but maybee thats because im using the high beam 9005 series bulbs instead of the reg ones......

Acura has a seperate bulb for the high beams, the bulb is a regular halogen bulb. Check out some pics of the Acura TL you'll see what I'm talking about.
