The guy who fills bottles at the track didn't show up.. So, I just ran it all motor for the fun of it. I ran 13.00-13.30 @ 104/105mph all night.. The temps were up about 20* from the other night, and for some reason, the track wasn't as sticky. I couldn't do better than a 2.0 60ft. I have some video footage of it.. but, I need someone to host it for me..

throw on some headers and you will pick up at least 3mph from them alone. Thats pretty stout for basically no beneficial power mods on top of the swap. Should be able to get deep in the 12's with headers and a good suspension setup.

Yeah I agree that suspension is crucial to hooking up. Also, a good way to increase traction in a FWD car is to put taller tires in the rear than in the front. That puts more "stress" on the front tires.

Man that is crazy. I love seeing sleeper cars at the track. I went to the track when I was 16 in my first car, non-turbo 88 rx7, and didn't know anything about the sho taurus next to me. I almost got pwned by a taurus, sure wasn't telling my friends about that at school the next day.
I bet we are going to see more of this. How did that fit in sentra anyway? I think it needs some hotshot headers, race pipe, nice 2.5" exhaust, aluminum flywheel, stage 2 clutch, S-AFC, tuning and some giggle gas. It would definatley see some 11's. I am real jealous of this, at least I don't own a Z.... If i paid 30k+ for a new Z and got pwned by a sentra, I would write a letter haha

Heres what gets me..... Why hasnt nissan done something like this? Dont you think that if Nissan made a V6 version of the Sentra, it would be really good competition with the new eclipse? I know it would hurt sales of the Altima and the 350. BUT damn nissan. Come on get a clue and quit sucking Renults shlong for once.

Hey Travis, you beat me to the idea. I would have never had a chance to even try this idea. First I had the idea of the VQ in the A32, then this. Both ideas someone beat me to it. Now its time to see the 5.6 in the 350.(even this idea is allready being thought up. Congrats man. I now have a new role model.
-Travis B.

P.S. how about showing us a still photo of the 3.5 in the B15?

Renault, France's second-largest car maker bought 37 percent of the company in March 1999. Renault are leading a push to curb manufacturing costs by sharing technology and simplifying production. By the way Nissan on average 3.2+ * 1.1- on stock for the last 5yrs inturn helped nissan return Z33 and the GTR. So I think we should thank them.
