06 Black Maxima Tint?

I just purchased a new Maxima over the weekend and I want to get the windows tinted. I have three choices and need your help in narrowing it down to one. They are 20% , 35%, or the chrome tinted tint(If anyone has a black Max with the chrome tint please post if you dont care). Any pictures would be very helpful. I have my appointment at 9:00 am tommorrow. I will post pictures as soon as they become available.

Thanks everyone!

I would say no on the chrome tint that is so honda!!! i think it cheapens the looks of the car. My black 05 gets tinted in the morning. I am doing charcoal tint 35 on the front and 20 on the back.

i have a black 04 maxima with black interior. i got 15% tint all around. I am just afraid to get pulled over. if you live in an area that doesnt mind tint then I would do it darker.

i've seen chrome on some cars, and it really does nothing for the looks of the car. definitely go black. and depending on the tint laws, go as dark as you can, or as dark as you would like and keep an eye out for cops.

do you have a light interior? if so, you may be able to get away with darker tint.

Chrome looks cheap, why would you choose a black stealth looking Max and then brighten it up with ricey chrome tint...

Below are your states tint law limits, but like others you can choose to go darker at your own risk. I have 35% front, 20% rear, 35% back, MD state legal and still looks pretty dark. Where I live gets kind of rural, so not many street lights, too dark of a tint in these conditions gets dangerous, especially with deer. Good luck

Check out this web site also for tint questions: http://www.tintdude.com/laws.html

What do you mean about the light interior? Leave the light on at all times? Or if I get pulled over to turn on the lights?

Thanks for the information everyone!

What he means is what color is the seating material and dash; black, tan, burnt orange, etc??? Lighter color interiors brighten up the cabin, if you have a darker material on your seating and interior surface, I lighter tint may look darker...

After I sent the message I knew what he was referring too. I have Black leather interior. I was thinking of going with the 20%, too dark? Would 35% be too light?

Hey I have 20% all around. Going lower gets a lil more risky with the cops IMO.

My car has a tan interior and this picture is in the direct sunlight. Again, mine is 35%/20%/35%

With a dark interior, yours should look darker...

I have 5% all around. I did get one ticket but I was willing to accept a ticket for the darker look I wanted. I say the biggest problem is what Chernmax said. Seeing out at night. It can be difficult reversing and sometimes even changing lanes when someone is in your blind spot because with 5% you won't be seeing their headlights very well. Not impossible to see out, but just look twice with darker tint.
