car alarm choosing.....

ok, its about that time for a car alarm, i know im gonna go with a clifford, my question is which model should i go with and does anybody know the cheapest source for it? also how hard is the install on one? can the average techno geek do one?

I would get with Pearl96Max he can recommend you good ones and probably has info on the Clifford. Check in the audio/video forum. I would stay away from installing if you don't tinker with wiring much. It's not that hard especially with wiring diagrams and colors.

For a basic alarm you would be looking at the 10, with LED 2-way the 10.2X and Responder 2-way the 10.5X.

Cheapest price...shop your local Dealers and decide which one that does quality work would be worth your money. Buying it "over the counter" or online is prohibited and results in loss of lifetime warranty and deductible coverage.

well, theres a decent shop round here that is selling the matrix 3.5 for 299 installed, what u guys think?

Hmmm they dont seem to be a dealer. Its all good, Im sure theyll be getting a call from Armando Parra which should be the rep for that area.

Yes, but I never go on AIM anymore. I get hit with Way too many IMs at once. Im too slow of a typer to keep up with 10+ IMs at a time.

I do have a phone though.

i highly recommend talking to pearlmax96 about anything regarding alarms. he is highly knowledgeable and helpful, excellent combination in the retail industry, i will definately be doing business with him in the future! thank you for your time again.
