Theoretically speaking...

Given unlimited monetary resources and time, is it possible to order every single part of a car (say a 4th gen) from the dealer and build your own max?

not that i would be crazy to do so and not that i can afford that, but is it possible ?

I don't see why not. In the end you would probably spend double what the car would actually cost brand new though.

If that's the case, buy a junker and at least you'll have a lot of parts to start out with...

with the fourth gen being 10+ years old, the manufacturer has discontinued some of the parts. Floor mats for example.

Given unlimited resources and time, you could probably build a teleporter. Unfortunately, due to that pesky time element, you'll probably never live to see it.
