Installing a shark fin

i want to install a shark fin on my car...
i havent looked at anything yet and or researched anything
i want quick answeres...

i have no radio AM or FM only cd player (ive been listening to CD's and only CD's for 2 years )

how would i go about getting one and installing it where... how

i want to delete my power antenna or... just if its easier to replace the old power antenna...

i want a damn radio

if this is some kind of antenna, perhaps you should post in the audio/ICE forum where the audio geeks hang out and would give better answers.

WOW!!..i wasnt aware that they make cd players without a tuner already integrated into it. Where did you get it from and what kind of unit is it?

Why a shark fin? To imitate the BMWs and Audis? The pre-made ones on eBay are simply a piece of plastic, it is not functional as an antenna.

i have an AM-FM reciever on my cd player
my antenna doesnt work soooo i dont get radio stations except 107.1 which is poop i must say


not to imitate them i just like to look and eliminates a big antenna my GF can bend when she gets mad

yes i was looking on ebay and some are just tape on shark fins
-or-
real antenna shark fins

or guys, my friend told me this is to get a regular antenna and wire, put the wire inside my trim inside and have the antenna chillaxin inside the headliner

Time for a new girlfriend.

Additionally, typically "shark-fin" type antennas are designed for satellite frequencies, not AM/FM. I'd look into getting an AM/FM antenna - relatively cheap and can (in theory) be placed on the inside of the car.

OR, just replace your non-working one with a working one

how would the shark fin attenna look on the maxima? because at times mostly BMWS have them on their newer models.
