I agree with you completely. The thread did indeed end well and it takes maturity to wrap it up as such. I did not say you acted poorly nor accuse you of playing the "salary" card in the thread. Heck, if you looked back on what I said I was leaning heavily towards your perspective. I can identify with what you're going through having just been married, am in grad school, and looking down the road to a house and kids so don't get me wrong here.

I made my comment because first of all, I wanted to give you feedback on your Max as your have requested and also to point out the needlessness of a Max owner to question another Max owner on how he/she spends $$$. In such serious instances, I prefer to give my $.02 in a civil and intelligent manner and I like to think that's how I came across. I rarely flame and never towards Max owners...it's not how I am.

Feel free to respond if you have any thoughts. Otherwise, here's a smilie...it does do plenty around these parts.

Well now that we are all good friends I think that we can put this behind us, right? Anyway, I live south of Cleveland, Ohio about 30min. I am on vacation now. Left at 7am EST and am in Charlotte for the night. I am heading to Hilton Head Island in the morning.

The Max performed well....got 28mpg in the moutains with the air conditioning on averaging between 80-85mph.

Talk to you guys later

I like YOUR car Tex! From that angle, looks like it's got a BMW shape going on the hood there; sweeet.

Thanks PLRod. It has a lower Ride hight like the BMW with the H&Rs, here is a front shot. I'll sell the car for $29,900 with the suspension tweaks and 6k miles.
