I read that someone got tail light paint from streetbeat.com to make red/clear tails for a 96.
Does anyone what color should I buy to make the orange become clear??

Make the orange clear? You can get a set of clear outer tail lenses and paint the bottom portion red. That may be more along the lines of what you are referring to.

Painting the clears red?

Any idea how to get the clear lense apart? I looked at it and it seems like I need a heat gun to help loosen the seal and take it appart. Anyone who has done this, any tips? Just don't want to break them.

There is a guy who did it by just spraying paint on the orange part

Just to let you all know the oven trick worked, if anything it might be safer than using a heatgun if you've never worked with one before becuase it heats the lense evenly. Just set the "oven temp for 200-250 and bake for 3-5 min" LOL But seriously it works!
