I may not know any of you, but someday I hope to meet all of you. I am still new on this board. I love maximas as I can see all of you do. I situation is so unfortunate, I will pray for all involved and for the families who will need to be there for them. Please let us know any updates.

Another update.
Yesterday (Monday) Arnaud's insurance company got a statement from him as well as me. They came over my house right after they talked to him. Well i gave them my statement which is identical to waht i told the cops. The insurance guy said most likely the whole blame wont be put on Arnaud. The reason for them getting my statement was so they could protect Arnaud and not have all blame put on him. THe only prob is he is at fault. Even though the truck was speeding.. he was going straight and he had thr right of way. Arnaud was turning so basically it just means he cut the truck off. We shall see what happens.

As i walked over, i saw his friends just laying there. I will not get graphic but lets just say Nightmare on Elm St times 5. Ironically enough the driver of the blue truck who hit Anrauo was a firefighter. Less then 2 mins the cops and firefighters arrived. The ambulence was ther eno less then a minute after. I was next to Arnauo on teh sidewalk and the firefighters had to use 2.. yes 2 Jaws of Life to get his 2 friends out. THey rushed those 2 to the hospital as well at Arnauo. As this time i gave the cop my info and what i saw. The car is totaled. The who passenger side looked like someone slammed that side into a wall over 100 times. They all had their seatbelts on which is what saved them . Both fron airbags deployed. Please do give us a second to pray that everyone is ok that was in that car. Right now i am on the phone with the detective ironically enough. The rest of the meet was fun. SOme ricer came over and wanted to race but no go. hehe. I will let everyone fill in from here.

My friend is out of his coma, had his eyes open and whatnot, squeezing doctors hand responding to certain things, its still gonna be a long bumpy road but at least he's looking at a bumpy road in the first place.

friend who just got the stitches doesn't even remember the accident and the doctor said its very possible that he never will, my friend who is out of the coma can't really respond, breathing tube and all, and at the moment he can't just get up and tell me if he remembers, i dunno maybe, maybe not i will find out soon enough, he is still in bad shape but is turning some what of a corner.
As for car news, the insurance is giving me 8k for the maxima and letting me keep all my performance mods, the junkyard is in Sayerville(i think i spelled it right?) next to hunka bunka that place everyone hears about on z100, i am goin on monday to try to retrieve my exhaust/ypipe/rims, can anybody assist me?, i went on friday but all i could get where my momo/polk components up front then it started raining like a bi t ch.

i went
to junkyard today again, that was probably the last time i will be going, i got my rims and some other stuff, well i got 3 rims and 1 is destroyed, i wanted to get my 1 month old ypipe and greddy exhaust but apparently i am not allowed to go under my car :-( cause the yard doesn't have that kind of liability. Boohoo.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My friend Joel was moved from the ICU to the childrens hospital, he is well stabilized and i can talk to him and he responds, he can move still has a little trouble with his left leg, but his left arm didn't move before either and now it does, everything else seems to be functioning, don't know the full extent but he still has his wit, he remembers lots of things, of course not the accident but u know what i mean. They expect him to be out of the hospital and into rehab within the next 2 weeks, i also turned 18 today, Aug 17th. woohoo

Wish you will buy a 97 maxima as soon as possible. Dont leave the maxima family. We will miss you if you will.

I am so glad to hear your friend is doing better. In no time you'll both be cruisin in a new maxima. And
