Hey,

A while ago I ordered the 2 poly urethane bushing sets that www.suspension.com offers. They are: 7-3111(Front Control Arm Bushing Set) and 7-5118(Front Sway Bar Bushing Set). Now, I don't know if these were the sets that people are always talking about getting, but I had them installed by my dealer when they were doing the tranny. Don't worry, I didn't get screwed because I know the mechanic who worked on it. He's a fellow maxima owner. Anyways, he said he had to use a torch, a air chisel and a sh!tload of time to get the old ones off. So, I hope people dont think its just a "bolt-on". Just an important FYI.

Now for My question:
The 2 bushing sets I bought didn't not come with endlink bushings. I called www.suspension.com about it and they said that there isn't a specific bushing set for the maxima, but if we know the size, then we can get them. Does anyone have this size or even better, a part number?!

Thanks.

Hey Screaminfast I don't know the info you asked about, but I have heard that those endlink bushings are a ***** to get off. Tonight I was speaking with Brian from Fast Brakes and he is now distributing speed bleeders, but he didn't know what size the Maxima needed. Do you know if 3rd, 4th, and 5th gen speed bleeders are the same size? If not do you know what size your speed bleeders are? I told him I'd find out and let him know.
Thanks.

The spleed bleeders website has application sizes. They say all maxima's 89-97 use the same front and back, discs and drums. They say SB1010. None of their application years are newer than 97, but I would assume the 5th gens are the same since all nissans, so they say use the same part number, SB1010.

Look here

ALL 4th and 5th gens have 4-wheelk disc brakes.

I used the universal Addco end link bushings. I had to trim them a little, but they work nice.

End links are simple to change. On the max you can only change the top due to the way the endlinks are made. Call back Bruce at suspension.com and tell him that they are a standard size for the nissan. When I spoke with him the same issue came up. He send me the ones for a nissan he had the list for. Sorry don't remember which one it was about 2 yrs ago. Anyway they fit perfectly.

It is very simple. Once the car is raised (on stands of course) with the wheels of. Remove the top bolts from each side. Take the old bushings out, replace with new, put everthing back together. Done
