2002 17" wheels already on eBay.....

I stumbled across an auction for a set of 2002 17" SE wheels. The only thing I don't like about the description is that he says that the 7" width can accomadate up to 275/60/17 tires...which is total BS. Check it out...

Actually what he says is, "7" wide (fit tires anywhere from p205/35/17 to p275/60/17)". Technically he may be correct. But the word he couldn't use, of course, is "safely".

was does the first set of digits refer to in tire sizes. Like what is 205 refering to in the 205/35/17? A little off topic but it's been bothering me a lot lately...

first number is tire width(or footprint).
