Rolled up bside a Gtp
Tinted windows was prob all he got

he revved me
i put it into first ( i dirve an auto)
i had him on first half car lenght
2nd
turnedin to 2 car lenghts

he closed in after that
but i had by half car lenght at the end when he put hiz hazords on

it was a heluva race... somethin that got the adrenalin pumpin

 

ummm...you mean besides his S/C right?....what mods do you have...

Aren't those things fast? I thought they were. Do they weigh alot?

Do you think his 195hp maxima really beat a GTP? Maybe I misunderstood your last post?

nope....i meant that this comes after a back and forth arguement about how a GTP and SC max would stand with each other....your post was valid...

 

i suggest you read the GTP vs. SC max and then think about your post....

he beat the gtp by half car lenght ...

 

If you know how to run your auto Max, you should have consistant numbers. With a stick shift, you could be as far apart as a full second on shifting, depending on your driving. If you beat a car that is normally faster than yours, then great, you get the points for being a good driver, and second, it will make the other guy think,"Hey that damn Maxima is one tough Cookie!"

Most guys would rather think that the other car is faster than theirs, than think that I messed up their shifting!

I have beaten two mustang gt's with my auto Maxima, and both those guys seemed impressed, until I raced one of them again and he smoked me big time!

 

 

I've raced quite a few GTPs (with my current mods) and I pretty much kill them after 50mph or so. Their 1st gear is pretty wicked because of all the torque their motor puts out. I've also raced a few pullied GTPs on and off the track and I've won some and lost some. The facts are:

You don't need a SC to beat a GTP.

Stock GTPs are no quicker than a well driven 5 speed 4th-5th gen Max.
