Just did somethin' stupid - need help

I just pulled into my garage (not far enough!) and let the garage down on my trunk!

It came down right on the MAXIMA logo and split it down the middle putting a HUGE scratch on my trunk lid. It pulled up a strip of paint!

Anybody know about how much it costs to get a trunk lid w/spoiler repainted? And how much the MAXIMA logo costs.

i would just start getting some quotes on the paint.

as far as the logo goes just post a WTB in the for sale forum. i got my 4th gen emblems for free that way. so many people have them laying around you should be able to find them..

It's a decent size garage for an apartment, but I left my jack near the end of the garage and I didn't pull up enough because I didn't want to risk hitting it.

Time to do a Tennis ball mod to your garage. You'll never smash the trunk again....

Check with your homeowners insurance

It might be covered there (where the deductible is likely lower). That was the case for someone I know who forgot about his roof rack and ran his bicycles into the garage.

First, the paint will probably cost you around 200 depending on what body work needs to be done. As for the emblem, either shave them off completely, or look in the for sale forum, many members have shave their logos, so it shouldn't be to hard to find a set, and the most important thing is to do something about your garage door.
