Langka

I've read the posts on this product, but no one has put any description beside there remarks. All I see is 'Get it, its the best!' or 'This stuff is #$#$!!!'

Could someone post there experience with this product good/bad? Maybe even a real life before/after photo instead of the advertising pics....

I currently have two blobs that could benefit if this stuff works.

If you made a post with a title that made any sense you might get some replies. I personally have never heard of this product, but even if it were about a product or brand I had heard of, like Stillen, I wouldn't read it because your title gives no indication what the hell you are asking, or stating, or whatever. The only reason I looked at this is because I wondered if Langka was actually a word or name, or if you had just posted a thread with random letters in the title.

Seems like everybody who posted in my paint chip thread knew what Langka was...try this langka.com. I only want responses from those who have tried the product, so don't read/post if you don't know the product.

Nealoc187, whats up with that? dont be a *** becasue you dont know what it is.

2002 Maxima SE, the thing you have to think about is that Nissan touch up paint does not match the car paint really well.

I guess this isn't a site where we're supposed to learn, huh? Nealoc187 has a point.

How about if every post topic just said:
"Stillen"
"Jim Wolf Technologies"
"Place Racing"
"Warpspeed"
"Stoner"
"Meguiers"

How would you know what anyone wanted to ask?

Next time, be more descriptive in post topic. Try: "Could someone post there experience with Langka?" or even better: "Could someone post their sucess/failure with their paint chips using Langka?"

Clee,

will do in the future.

Kashoggio,

Not to worried about the Nissan touchup paint. Mine is black. This product is supposed to 'dissolve' the blob of touch up paint down to a flat surface.

I apologize for my previous post. I was in a bad mood (nothing relating to this post) and some of my anger came out in my reply. Again, sorry about that. I was just a little perturbed at something else, and the title that didn't make any sense to me (because I'd never heard of the product) just happened to be how I let some anger out at that moment. Sorry man.

On another note, this Langka stuff sounds interesting, as I have a few strange blobs on my paint. I was

I have used it.....

Used it on my one hood chip (silver 2000 I30). It does make the area of the touch up smooth but makes the touch up paint slightly dull. It does not seem to hurt the surrounding factory paint and the info says that it will NOT hurt the clear coat.

Overall, I would say it makes the touch up look alittle better, but not like the chip was never there. I would give the product a "B"

Hope this helps

STEVE

Thanks Steve, thats the kind of feedback I was looking for. Do you think putting some clear coat on the touch up paint then using Langka to smooth the clearcoat would help? Was the touch up paint an exact match? How long did you wait to use it on the blob (I have one car with a blob from 2 days ago and another with one from 6 years).

Sorry for all the questions, just wondering.

answers

I suspect the clear coat would work and would smooth out as long as it is the same type of paint as the regular touch up paint. (It dosent work on the paint that is on the car. The touch up paint is apparently different which allows the Langa to work)

It works best on blobs 1-2 days old, but the directions say you can try it on old blobs several years old, but it may not work.

Yes, the touch up paint I used was an exact match and other than being alittle dull the color does match the car after the process.

are you sure about that sas....i read mine and it said i should REAPPLY a clear coat at my discretion...which would make sense...it seems reasonable that this would do some damage to the clear coat
