probs with grerddy?

I just installed my Greddy cat-back about a month and a half ago...as soon as I put it on, it didn't fit right, so I played with the mounting brackets on the muffler to get it to look right in the hole of my bumper...then as soon as I drove it, I noticed it was ratling against something. I didn't really worry about it too much...well, today I got under my car, because the rattling is very loud with the windows up, and since it is getting cold here, I have my windows up a lot more...well, I found out that my exhaust was wearing a hole through my gas tank strap, and my actual gas tank!!! I put some rubber hoses and taped them up temporarily until I can get Greddy to do something about it. Anyone else have fitment probs with their Greddy?

I know what you mean!

I have the same rattle that I hear everytime I drive the car. I got the cat-back on last weekend and this weekend I will try to get under my car and fix it. That is a bad fit. Let me know what Greddy will tell you.

I haven't had any problems with mine rattling... The only place that was close to toughing part of the car was where the little 'safety' bracket bolts on underneath the center of the car just in case the exhaust 'drops'. All I did wash shim it slightly lower with 4 washers... The rest of the piping clears the car by about 1 inch (even the gas tank). I have the newer kit that fits 95-99.

My piping before the muffler did rot out and I had to have it replaced after the flange. I had the exhaust for about 3 years now, though. I only drive about 1.5 miles to work so perhaps the large amount of condensation after shutting the engine down played a big part in it.

I had the same rattling problem to, all it was is the exhaust hitting against the body, I adjusted it alittle and never heard from it again. I have it for a year now.
